Anyone Else Having Bright Pixel Problems?

For some reason over the past 5 years, I’ve had almost a 100% bright pixel rate and I’ve had dozens of “high end” expensive displays. Every monitor I’ve owned that had bright pixels was in the $500-$1500 range. Is anyone else having as much horrible luck as I am? I get that these displays in the 1080p – 1600p range obviously will have a higher chance of pixel deformities since than a smaller 17” monitor but this is seriously pathetic. Here is a detailed experience of my bright pixel history:

Samsung 305T (30” 2560x1600, $1300 monitor) 5/5 bright pixels
Apple LED Cinema Display (27” 2560x1440, $1000 monitor) 1/1 bright pixel
Alienware OptX AW2310 (23” 1920x1080 120HZ, $500 monitor) 1/2 bright pixels
Alienware M11X (11” 1366x768 WLED $???) 0/2 bright pixels (I don’t consider this a high end display)
Alienware M15X (15” 1920x1080 WLED $500???) 2/2 bright pixels
Alienware M17X (17” 1920x1200 RGB LED $1000??? (as I’m told) 0/1 bright pixels
Random crappy <$300 Viewsonic LCD’s I had before the Samsung 305T 0/2 bright pixels

The funny thing is, 100% of every single budget “low end” screen I’ve seen in library’s, school computers, and work computers I have yet to see a single bright pixels and those monitors are seriously in the <$100 range (4:3 17-19” LCD’s with like 1024x768 resolution) Since my Samsung 305T fiasco of getting replacement LCD’s with bright pixels after bright pixel after bright pixel, I’ve always taken a mental note now to look for bright pixels every time I’m on some random crappy screen and I’ve yet to come across a single one.

I’m starting to get really impatient because it seems like the only “high end” monitor I can even buy without pixel deformities are Dells monitors with the “Premium Panel Guarantee” So it looks like I can only get like a Dell U2711 or a Dell U3011 when in reality, I’d rather have a 27” Apple LED Cinema Display, HP ZR30W, or the new Hazros 27"-30s" since they outperform dell for performance and for price for the screen size.

What experience has everyone else had? I’m not trying to vent or something but I wouldn’t recommend anyone buying a $500+ monitor unless you’re guaranteed 0 bright pixels unless you want pink dots all over your screen you can’t wipe away and wink at you all the time and drive you crazy.

Right now I'm on my Alienware Optx AW2310 (TN Panel) but after having the Apple LED Cinema Display (IPS Panel) I really am craving to get a 27"-30" IPS again soon (again the Dell U2711 or U3011 seems like my only choice)

Since, I know about the IPS Panel technology, it's the best panel tech which allow us to enjoy the large & colorful images with every possible angle. And be confident on your decision about IPS panel as you mentioned above that you already experienced the IPS in Apple LED Cinema Display, So i recommend you to think about LG M2762D-27 inches LCD TV Monitor before you buy any new monitor. This LG LCD series supports full HD1080p resolution & have a built-in tv tuner that follow MPEG4 tech for performance of movies, games, and sports-just as vivid and practical as an HDTV & it cost somewhere around $400.
Furthermore, if you found the above details interesting you can go through the below mentioned URL. It will help u a lot.

Thnx.

I always had mainstream cheap screens, now I own my third and no one of them ever had issues, so I believe you are just unlucky.
