My video card is in the rma process, and I am using the HD4600 intel graphice while I wait. Mostly it seems to work fine but will just artifact out of nowhere, and it freezes my computer. I have tried different inputs, and drivers. Anyone have any thoughts? Here's a pic.

I've never had a problem with integrated. Are you sure your cable isn't bad? It kind of looks like that more than a bad graphics card.

I rma'd the graphics card for different reasons. I've never had my display do this until I tried the integrated graphics. I tried hdmi, dvi, and vga cables. I set the memory from 64 to 512 in bios to see if that would help.

my integrated looks fine, been using it in an htpc for 2 years now

You're not trying to set a refresh rate higher than 60hz, are you?

No. I think it may be memory related. I tried running each of my ram sticks separately. It messed up 3 times within a few hours on one stick, and the stick I have in now is at 12 hours so far with no issues.

Interesting! did you try running memtest?

Yeah. That's the odd thing. I ran it for like 5 hours with no errors. I thought it could possibly be my board, but I got the artifacts with the same memory stick in different slots.

Use Intel HD in 4 different computers daily, never seen that. Even play WoW on 2 of them :O

Yeah it's been 17 hours with no errors. That other memory stick is definitely the cause. Going to rma my ram.
