As I was sitting here listening to music today I thought of asking, anyone use a Buttkicker around here?

I got mine just after christmas and love it. People keep saying its an a** shaker but in reality if you set it correctly it feels exactly like good strong bass.

With my HD555 headphones and the buttkicker gamer turned on it is amazing, and gaming is awesome as well. My friend couldn't believe how much bass my headphones have :p

The gamer one, the rest are for couches and such and the gamer is for desk chairs.

Works great, I used to see them in BB and some other stores a few years back.

Glad to hear it's nice; I ordered one, and it'll be arriving tomorrow! I do most of my gaming while my wife is asleep, and need to be fairly quiet. I was hoping the Buttkicker would add a little more immersion to my games.

How do you have it connected to your X-Fi when using headphones? Do you connect both the Buttkicker and headphones to the line out, and split the signal with a y-splitter? Or can you connect the headphones to the X-Fi's "front" lineout jack and the Buttkicker to the "center/sub" output jack while using the CMSS-3D headphones settings?

So basically this thing sends vibration up your ass? :p:p:p:p

Looks like a cool product, definitely going to try one soon! Can someone explain the sensation when playing FPS games or listening to a hip hop with heavy beats or something? Most of the reviews I've read are very vague.

It comes with a Y cable and I just Y it out of my Line out in the back (i have the XtremeMusic so no front ports on my PC). One side of the Y goes the the buttkicker, one to my headphones.

It feels just like bass if you have it set right. If you have it too high it feels like vibrations, but when you get it leveled out with how loud the music is coming out of your speakers or headphones, it will feel and almost sound (even though it emits no noise, you can be sitting next to me and not even feel or hear a thing coming from it unless you are sitting in the chair) just like bass (since in reality bass is more felt via sound vibrations than heard).

The amp has a low and high cutoff with the high being adjustable. This allows you to set how sensitive it is to the lower sounds in songs/games.

it is amazing to use in BF2 and BF2142. The guns really have a kick to them and you can really feel the power in the guns. Tanks feel really heavy, support guns feel loud and bulky, and little machine guns feel littler but still pack a punch :)

I love the feeling of shooting the support guns, it feels like they are so powerful and heavy duty, something you miss without a lot of bass.

I found they are pretty cheap on ebay. I got mine for like $80 or something like that. Not bad when new I think they were $199 at BB and such.
