Anyone able to explain this?

This was taken over a period of several minutes by simply idling in Dragon Age: Inquisition. The game suddenly freezes for seconds when these drops to 0% occur and makes the game totally unplayable. Its been an ongoing problem since I've owned the card and was hoping the latest driver update (347.25) would fix it, but alas it hasn't. I'm trying to stay cool about this and don't want to resort to an RMA, but my patience has been dwindling as this 970 has been nothing but a total disappointment. As such, I'm turning to [H] for some possible answers. These mini-freezes happen in other games too that were previously known to run perfectly fine, but is many times more noticeable in DA. Anyone suffering from similar ailments with the 970?

I too had some issues with Dragon Age. One thing I did read, is turn off Vsync in game, and Turn it on with the Nvidia control panel.

Not sure if this fixes your issue, but it did help with my performance and stuttering issue, and ground flickering issue I was having.

With such a vague title, I was really hoping for something way far out there. Like, a triple SLI setup that had stuttering but only when the watercooler pump's PWM was at 43%, which caused a coil whine harmonance that made your cat fall asleep.

This just sounds like a bad card. You should return it.
