I have a friend that wants to do some recording, but he's not a computer geek.... So he talked to me, but I'm not an audiophile.
In the end, we got the Delta 1010LT, and he's pretty impressed with it thus far. The only problem that we're having is getting SPDIF working. He's got two cards in his box. There's the 1010LT for studio-ish work, and the onboard MCP-T audio for coffee breaks
.
Anyway, I wanted to hook the onboard SPDIF to the LT's SPDIF, and I was getting hopeful when I got the clocks to sync. Anyway, when I outputed on the onboard, and listened on the Delta... bad stuff. It either made a terrible noisy screeching that made me want to commit suicide, or just did nothing.
This is the first time I'm using a semi-pro card, the first time I'm using SPDIF, and some other first I can't recall.
