Anybody using Intel Modem.

I recently got this modem for one of my system. Its a hard modem but i m having quite a few troubles with it.
Firstly it keep giving the error message that the line is bz when i try to connect to my ISP and when i try it directly through phone the line is not bz.
Secondly after 20 - 30 mins it simply stalls and there is no bytes movement on the internet monitors and also the IE after sometime stops..
I believe this is all due to some drive issue but i don;t know where to find the drivers.
I downloaded 2 drivers from the Intel site but Windows XP doesnot recognize them.
My model of modem is Intel MD5690
and system is
P4 2.8 HT.
with 256MB RAM
and Windows XP professional.

Any help will be appreciated.
