Anybody benchmarked raid drives using LSI 9265?

I like to run benchmarks and do the comparisons. In a few weeks, when I get my
tax refund, I will be ordering the controller and a few more hard drives. Once
I get that set up with 4 each 1TB drives, I would like to run some comparsions.
The comparisons would be run using the different raid levels and then measure
performance, disk size, etc. Has anyone done anything like this before? If
not, what benches should I run? I was thinking of ATTO, crystal disk mark, and
any others that seem obvious.

I have just read a post on another forum that suggests the LSI cards take a long time to boot. Is this correct? I may change my mind about these then.

Having a dozen or so LSI based SAS cards at work I believe they add around 10 to 20 seconds during the looking for drive phase.

Edit: I do not have an answer about raided benchmarks since I never use the raid feature of any of my LSI card. All of my cards at work are on linux and I use linux software raid with them.
