Any word on safe memory voltage?

So I ended up with a 7870 that doesn't overclock very much, but I've noticed that I can increase my memory clockspeed to at least 1325MHz after raising my memory to 1.65V from the stock 1.6V. Afterburner tops out at 1.7V-is this safe for the memory? I can't find any info on raising the memory voltage, but it did help my clocks here. I'm using the Crysis demo to test, and it was pretty consistent about crashing if I raised the memory clockspeed beyond 1275MHz at the default 1.6V, but it was fine with 1325MHz at the higher voltage. I haven't tried topping out the memory at that voltage yet, so it could go higher.

For my 680, I pulled up the datasheet on the specific RAM chips on board, as well as the VRM's supplying them. 1.7V was fine from what I saw. Which card do you have?

7870 Hawk with 2 phases for the memory. Googling this memory though, Hynix H5GQ2H24MFR-T2C, I'm a bit confused why it's running default at 1200@1.6V when it seems like it's rated 1250@1.5V.

I don't think the poor overclock is a problem with my system either cause I had another 7870 Hawk that I RMA'd because of a faulty cooler, but it overclocked pretty well. With this one I left the core voltage at the stock 1.218V for now cause even at 1.3V I couldn't get 1175 core stable, but I wonder if that could be limiting the memory controller.

BTW, using Afterburner to OC. Some people say it's less stable than Trixx but I haven't given that a try yet.
