The fan is about the size of a coin. Now it seems to be sealed. Can we add lubricant oil at the fan? And if so, would it silence the sound?

how did you guys get thru that era of noisy fan on those video cards during gaming? I was using HP, so the noise of the HP is louder than the GPU fan noise.

It silenced my 6600GT just fine. And lucky for you, it's still in-stock!
Cause yeah, it was the era of 1st-generation silencing, with my Antec Sonata. Before that, computer fans weren't sexy unless they were loud!
And before that, gaming video cards were passive-cooled, or had relatively low-speed active coolers. Because they used 10-15w!
But those 6000-series cards use around 50-60w, but still use the same-old tiny HSF.
