Any way to repair my Sennheiser HD 555 headphones?

The wires that connect the cable to my headphones are coming undone. See:

Sure. They're pretty easy to rewire as long as you can solder. Past that, some sort of temp fix with tape/heatshrink/etc, but that won't last
 
Adhesive heatshrink would last a long time, but I agree the right way to fix it would be by rewiring and soldering.
 
can you solder? if you can then its easy as pie

when you have the cans apart to fix them then make sure you do the mod to turn them into 595's

just google hd-555 mods, there's a host of thing you can do to these to open them up and make them sound better
 
i recable all of mine anyways and add ports for detachable mics. Heatshrink will do just fine, if you get the 4:1 shrink you can just slide it up the cable and be done with it, but i use mogami quad balanced cable to redo all my senns.
