As claimed in the new bios:

HPT374 v3.04 05/08/2004
* S.M.A.R.T support
* AMD64 support
* Buzzer support
* Fix Windows 2000/SP2 installation issue
* Fix timing compatibility

ActiveSMART and AIDA32 still doesn't seem to work, neither does the latest v3.07 management utility. Anyone know?

Are you wanting to read SMART status while in an OS or outside?
Preferrably while within the OS

I want to use a utility like ActiveSMART that reads and logs the SMART data. But if command line is the only option then I would still like to see what temps the drives are reporting.

Ive never seen any 3rd party aps that will read through a RAID card
on the other hand various RAID card manufacturers do provide management utilitys that work with their own cards,
my SX6000 PAM utility has rudimentary SMART status,

Id try trouble shooting their management utility and check any FAQ or forum they have
