Any way to get Google Voice Notifications?

I constantly use google voice to text and was wondering if there is any useful desktop widget or notification system that would instantly alert me to sms's and allow me to respond.

They also come right in your inbox so I consider that my notification. And you can reply directly to the email and it texts them back.
