hi i bought my rad last week. the holes to mount it were a little small so i figured i'd drill them a bit larger, well long story short the drill bit went a bit too far and grabbed some of the fins and prety much ripped them out , now its leaking from that spot , anyone have any experience fixing that kind of problem or should i just order a new one and not risk any leaks? :(

If it's a hairline crack, you may be able to braze it closed. IMO, you should toss it and get another one.

You can use JB Weld or a similar epoxy to patch up the hole, just make sure it doesn't leak before returning it to service. The area will need to be clean, of course, and the epoxy mixed properly. But that's not too difficult, so go ahead and try.
