Any way to disable min/maximize animation for full screen games only?

Hi, I recently upgraded to vista 64bit, and I'm looking for ways to make it faster. In xp, i would disable minimize/maximize animations totally, and this seemed to help when alt-tabbing to and from full screen games. However, with aero I don't want to see the animation effects for normal (not fullscreen) windows go away, just the animation on anything that takes over my monitor (games mostly).

I know how to disable animations totally, so that isn't what I'm looking for.

If you have any ideas, let me know.
