About to clean my loop out... my plan:
1) Remove entire loop from PC without disconnecting any tubing (rad, cpu block, res, and pump)
2) dismantle tubing in the bathtub or large bin (and drain here)
3) boil some 10:1 water/vinegar mix, attempt to run it through tubing via funnel (i may burn myself, so i may just let it soak in boiling water)
4) let all the components sit in water/vinegar bath for approx 30 minutes
5) scrub everything with sponge and old toothbrush
6) rinse everything a few more times with water, then distilled water
7) try to salvage tubes and put everything back together

how many gallons of distilled water should i buy? any tips? I'm really dreading removing and putting the rad back in since the fans screw onto each side of the rad rather than straight through... meaning i have to hold it up to the top of the case while trying to do it.

I think you're plan sounds like overkill honestly. Also vinegar is corrosive. If you dont have algae problems, why this kind of intensity for cleaning?
