Any thoughts on this Mushkin?

It's not awful... but it does use asynchronous NAND... which doesn't perform as well as synchronous NAND. But in day-to-day usage you'd probably not even notice the difference.

For $80, I'd almost be tempted to go with the Mushkin 2281/async. The sync NAND-equipped models are faster, but the speed difference is minimized at 240GB. If the $80 savings is a big deal, get the Mushkin. If it isn't, get the ForceGT.

If we were talking 120GB models, then I'd get the ForceGT.

The M4 and the Samsung 830 are pretty awesome too, but you aren't going to get them for $268.

I find that the older I get the longer I want my hardware to last. The synchronous NAND is supposed to last longer and not degrade as quickly. The ForceGT is only $40 more with the rebate.

What's the saying? 6 of one, half dozen of the other.

First week with it has been awesome. Didn't bother reinstalling Windows as I will be doing that in April on a new build. Put an image of my OS on the SSD, realigned and off to the races. Boot times are massively improved, about 18 seconds from power-on to desktop (and immediately useable), everything loads pretty much instantly. BF3 64 player map times load in 8-15 seconds versus 60-75 seconds before. And this is on a 6 year old P965 motherboard with SATA2.
