Not technically SFF...but fairly close, IMHO. 1475 cubic inches vs 1366 cubic inches for an X-QPack. BARELY bigger at all. And the price is certainly agreeable (although, I'd presume, like the X-QPack, the PSU needs replaced).

Definitely has an....ODD....PSU arrangement. BUT, it can take a full-sized ATX motherboard (barely), and that's certainly a handy feature to have.

Dunno, guess I'm just getting tired of futzing with one crappy mATX mobo solution or another, and sometimes those full-sized boards have such a list of features, it makes one think of changing...(but definitely not to a full tower, could never do that again!)
 
May I ask what you'd be using it for? Personally, I'm always wary of no-name (afaik), weird stuff, but I guess if you want to try something different (and you don't mind having it in a desktop configuration vs. a tower), it might work for ya. I'd change out the power supply with a more reputable brand, and I sure as hell wouldn't shove a classically hot processor in there (like a prescott or something).

Why not go for a shuttle or a mini-itx solution? I know it means getting a new mobo/spending more, but they're made to be small: putting an atx board in a "just barely fits" semi-atx case isn't something I'd personally be comfortable doing...
 
As my sig states, I'm currently using an Aspire X-QPACK. It's a fine case and all, no real complaints. It's just...the motherboard choices for it are definitely lacking. And, when it gets right down to it...it tends towards unsightly. While it looks okay with just a graphics card in it with nice art on it, the clear side panels make it look goofy with a BUNCH of cards in it (sound card, etc). And the "solid" version....just looks too PLAIN. Like a box. A black, square, BOX.

SLI or Crossfire would be nice.

Gigabit Ethernet, without sacrificing buckets of overclocking options.

Indeed, "good overclocking" is an important point.
 
i was also looking at that case for a HTPC..... wondering if anyone has worked with because the reviews arent all that great on the egg.....
 
Thanks OP for posting this! I've been looking for a nice case that I can set by the TV from time to time that won't look out of place. I was considering the Lian-Li V880B, but unfortunately it is expensive and I'm not entirely sold on its looks. I have heard that Lian-Li's are sturdy and have excellent fit and finish, but I think I'm going to try this one out first.

I'll probably order it next Monday, will post an update/impressions when I get it. It sounds like the writer of the only review on Newegg isn't as *cough* [H]ard as the rest of us, and therefore wasnt willing to make some changes to get it all sorted out. I can definitely say already that the stock psu is getting thrown out, to be replaced by a Seasonic S12-600. Also will be replacing all the stock fans (2x60mm, 1x80 or so it appears) with quieter fans, as well as cutting open the fan holes in the back and side, and probably adding a grill in the front for psu exhaust. Apparently the fan on the psu blows out instead of blowing air through the psu.

i have this case, its pretty nice, its a cheap case definatly, and the mobo arrangement is odd, but it fits a full atx mobo, a nice sized PSU, and a reasonably large heatsink (will not accomodate HUGE heatsinks) overall its a nice package and looks rather nice in use, PICS LATER
 
If it fits an ATX board, it is bigger than it looks. Wonder if it would fit an XP-90?

Define "reasonably large"?

Would it fit...maybe...an XP-120?

Sure *looks* like an XP-120 would fit on it. Depending on motherboard, of course.

Got any pics of the outside of it - maybe next to a monitor or keyboard or something, so we can get a "feel" for the size of it? (I mean, we've got the numbers, sure, but to actually see it in comparison to something else may help a lot)
