Any thoughts on the Averatec AV3250HX80?

My mom is looking at this right now and really thinking of buying it. It's got a deal going on at circuit city where it's 899 AR and 0% interest for 12 months. I've really never heard of the brand, but here are the specs:

Averatec AV3250HX80

All she's really going to be using it for is surfing the web and maybe some light office work. There really won't be any gaming whatsoever, maybe the occasional dvd though. I'm probably going to drive over to circuit city tomorrow to check it out, but I figure I'll get your guys' word on it as well. So, what do you think?

I have a friend whose needs sound like your moms and her averatec is doing well for those purposes. Hers is a tad slower than the one you posted too.

I checked it out this afternoon. I wasn't able to mess around with it too much, but it seems like a winner so far, the only issue is the screen size. I forgot how small 12" seems , however my mom wants small, so I'm pretty sure she's ok with it.
