Hello, im hoping to be getting a new rig soon. I have researched for ages and i have came up with the following system. Please be aware that i wont be building this system as i woulnt know where to start. I will be using it for some serious gaming and i wont be doing much overclocking - well not for a gd while until i learn how to. So here's the spec:

2x nVidia GeForce 7800 GTX 512MB (SLI)

NEC Floppy
80GB SATA II
300GB SATA II
Windows XP Home SP2

I havent yet decided what manufacturer the hard drives are going to be from. I was hoping maybe some people could recommend a manufacturer. I want both the drives to be SATA 2's.

Also im finding it rather difficult locating a supplier selling the PCP&P Turbo-Cool 510 Express / SLI in the UK - if anyone knows of a place selling these i would appreciate the web address. I am also open to other PSU Suggestions.

I havent mentioned a case in the spec because i already have a Thermaltake Xaser III - which im not sure i want to use. I hope that people could suggest much better cases for this setup

Everything looks good. I'd recommend grabbing a new case, also. I like Antec's P series, Lian-Li, Coolermaster, and Silverstone brand-wise.

Can you link to the 4551A? I've only seen NEC go up to the 3550A.
 
Well to be honest i dont think the NEC 4551A has it the shops yet, but the 4550 has. There difference between the two being that the 4551A has the new LabelFlash technology. Im hoping the 4551A hits the shelves soon coz i think the labelflash function would be good - no more glossy labels and tonnes of ink.

Yeah i think i will need a new case, coz the Thermaltake Xaser III has major problems with the latest PCI graphics cards, in that they are too big and wont clip down.

You have a beautiful list of good stuff.

For hard drives, I recommend the Hitachi Desktar T7K250. 250 GB, NCQ, SATA2, and very fast for only $119. You could go for dual drives with that Hitachi drive.

As for cases, I personally like the P180. Silverstone's J-Series is fantastic too.
