Hi...I am going to tell you a mod that I have in my head. I just want to know if this setup is possible, feasible, and can be bought (id rather not do too much DIY building).
Short Story:
Are there light controllers that work like the sound reactive ones, only have an input for sound (like mic in or line in) rather than a built-in microphone?
Can these be used to control UV lights?
Long Story:
I'm looking to have sound-sensitive UV lights, two 12" or one 12" and two 4".
I want them to be sound sensitive, so they can kinda flash along to the beats of my music. I want the sound controller to have at least two modes - off and sound sensitive. I would like it if I could find a sound reactive controller that had a decent microphone, or a place to attach one. Because I really doubt tiny little quarter-inch slots like on the vantex nexus fan/light controloller can pick up much.
Actually, the most ideal thing would be something that could actually control lights via monitoring the sound that the computer is making through the soundcard. Software-driven or, I guess, this could also work by having a microphone/line in.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Are there any such controllers?
Is this setup possible?
