Any software that splits MP3's into tracks?

well, i do a lot of mixing on the computer, for fun, using acid pro and fruity loops to create my beats...

i am wondering, is there any software out there that can split a MP3 file into different tracks...like a bass track, vocal, highs.....something of that sort.....so i could eliminate for example, the bass line or the vocals and so on...

i dont think there is anything that will do that. Mainly because MP3s are a recording of music rather than a performance. You can do it with MIDI since Midi is like sheet music for your computer. MP3s are more like an audio CD or a Tape for your computer.
