Any reason to install CCC?

I've been reading about CCC now for the last few releases, and since I am a pretty hands-on computer user i've not really been able to comprehend a reason why I would need to install this.

My understanding of what it does:
Overclocking tool.
Direct 3d/OpenGL controls combined into an easier to use format.
Doesnt it have some sort of "on the fly" image quality control?
Takes up too much system ram :D


Did I make this stuff up or read it wrong? I use ATItool to overclock, I dont mind using the control panel to change my driver settings.......are there any other benefits to using CCC that I am not aware of?

People are going to give you pretty mixed reviews about it. I'd say just install it for yourself. If you like it, use it, if it gives you problems and sucks up too much ram dump it. I used to use the CCC but it was just too much ram/sluggish computer for me to take.
