Any Qpack owners try this?

Since I had a Hard drive cooler on my HDD , I used the HDD temperature probe for the front LCD on my video card. Any of you guys do this? Now I can monitor my CPU & video card when I'm gamming......EZ

Uh, yeah, there's no rules that stop you from using the HDD temp probe anywhere you want. Heck, you can use the CPU probe anywhere too. My Aspire X-SuperAlien has the same exact front LCD/Probe setup and my HDD probe measures ambient case temp!

its just a temp probe, i see no way that it would know whether or not its being used to measure the hdd temp or not :p

Same here, i used it on the HD for a couple of days, just to make sure it wasn't hot, then moved it onto the video card.

Don't most SMART enabled HD's have internal temp probes? I know mine does, I can monitor it with smartfan...
