I have my rig running quite a bit so I can download whatnot... anyways... I know I don't need my p4 prescott wasting all this electricity... I remember a program from a long time ago that cut down on cpu cycles.... I wasn't able to find it though..

What do you guys do so you aren't paying out the ass once a month to your electric co.?

You can undervolt your processor and RAM. Just set the vcore and vdimm voltage in your BIOS to the lowest possible number you can achieve while still maintaining stability. If you underclock, that helps reduce the voltage requirements as well.
