Working on upgrading the firmware on some access points (Procurve 420 J8130B). Many have successfully upgraded, 2 have not. 1 is more or less dead and I plan on calling it in.
The other one is kind of in "limbo". Software was at v2.2.0.8 upgrading to 2.2.5. Something got screwed up in the upgrade process because the software is now at v2.2.0.8-dflt. I cannot access the web admin of the AP. I use the copy tftp file at the CLI and that fails to get the new software. I get tftp read failed !! on the AP itself when plugged in through the console.
Has anyone ran into this before?
I've Googled it and have only come across someone saying that the upgrade to 2.2.5 took two tries on many of his APs (as it did with many of mine).
