Has anyone ever had a problem with ATI Tray Tools?

Any problems with ATI Tray Tools?

I had, it lacked X1900 series overclocking last time I tested. But supposedly that is fixed in latest versions?
I have one question about tray tools too. Iam a big time HTPC user and I appriciate the easy way of setting up my Projector to work with my card using CCC. Is tray tools simple/easy to use with HTPC enviroment like hooking up a projector or LCD tv with tray tools?

It's functionality is iffy.
The 'Catalyst AI' settings it has appear to have no relation to what is actually used at all (the ATI's CCC appears to be the only way to set this correctly). The "optimization" settings are suspect. FSAA changes usually don't work. HQ AF toggle is iffy, too.
Basically, for real complete control of the ATI driver, CCC is your only option.

Install ati driver only. No CCC.

Except it doesn't. Install just CCC. Disable Catalyst AI. Run 3dMark. Enable it on standard. Run 3dMark. Enabled it on 'advanced'. Run 3dMark.
Now do the same thing you mentioned above, and use ATT to do the same thing.
Note how you get 3 different scores with CCC, and you don't with ATT (at least, within the margin of error, anyway).
Try the AF thing, too. There are several games where you can observe 'texture thrashing' on off angles. Enable HQ AF in ATI's CCC. Note how it goes away. Try the same thing with ATT. Note how it doesn't.
I'm sorry, but ATT just doesn't work very well with the 6.x Catalyst drivers. (Note: it actually works perfectly fine with the 5.x series, though - so if that's what you are using, you are golden)
Actually the recent changes to ATT use CCC, so no issues like that. After some buggy trouble with ATI Tool, I tried ATT. I use the Overdrive 3 to overclock which uses CCC but allows memory to go above 800 and voltage changes. Since it uses CCC, you do not need to disable the ATI polling service anymore. I did set up a 2D profile just to change fan speed when playing a game, I don't like my card's default fan control.
