I have an old Athlon x2 CPU, that has win 7 driver available to download:

Asus M2A-VM HDMI

It currently has 2 GB of RAM, but I can upload to 4 GB

I plan to install Intel SSD 120 GB

So the question is, would there be any problem with that, especially under DDR2 memory?

why would the SSD care what type of RAM the system has?

for what its worth, I have a server rig that has DDR2 ECC+REG, with an Intel 330 120GB

There appears to be evidence more RAM extends SSD endurance. That is the only drawback, and relates to 2 GB rather than memory type.
Motherboard chipset may not run trim?

I thought trim is a function of the OS. Since win 7 is available, do I need to dig out somehow if their chipset support trim? I don't know that 1
