Any practical difference between Audigy and Audigy 2?

What the title says^^

Newegg currently has the OEM version of the 1st gen Audigy for $51 and the OEM Audigy 2 for $74.

If there's really no practical difference between the two (ie. hardware acceleration, any noticeable difference in gaming, etc.) I'd go with the cheaper Audigy.

The Audigy1 ain't bad if you use the Audigy2 drivers for it.

Most people agree that there is a noticable difference in sound quality between the two sound cards.
