I have a 6800 NU, and the temp probe that comes built in has been acting strange for a couple of weeks now. It started when I went to a friends house when I started up my comp the nvidia driver was telling me that my card was 150C+, but I know that it is not because I touched the back of the core and it was cool to the touch. And if I touch the card back by the power connecter the temp drops back down to where it should be around 43c max.
Should I send it in to newegg and get a replacement, or do you think it is just a problem with the builtin temp probe? I dont think this is causing any performance\ stability problems
O and I know that this could be in the overclocking and cooling area, but I thought it would be
best in the video card area
