A racing game fanatic friend needs a fast 27'' 120hz+ display, for PC and consoles too (PS4 and Xbox1).
G-Sync will be a great benefit for PC Gaming but unfortunately Gsync monitors like Philips 272G5DYEB (and Asus PG278Q) have display port only.
Even if G-Sync and 144h will remain unused in console gaming, the low input lag will be a great benefit too.
He don't have space in room for two different displays, is him forced to give up G-Sync and purchase a simple 144hz monitor, or there is any solution ?

are the HDMI to DP cables working? (even if it will be bothering the need to unplug DP to connect HDMI>DP and vice-versa any time)

As far as I know, the only monitor with G-Sync and multiple inputs is the Benq XL2420G. It has two boards inside, so you'll have to use a switch to alternate. The double boards obviously increases the price compared to other models, but the current G-Sync board only supports the single DP connector so there's no other options until Nvidia comes up with next gen G-Sync.
