any monitor work for eyefinity?

Hey guys, I'm going to be building a computer in the next couple of days with this card

XFX Double D FX797GTDFC Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card


I was curious, will ANY newer 1080p monitor work in a 3 X 1 landscape configuration?
Or is there some sort of resolution specs I need to watch.

Right now eyeing these monitors, one first, the other two later:

ASUS VH236H Black 23" 2ms Full HD Widescreen LCD Monitor w/ Speakers 300 cd/m2 20000 :1 (ASCR)
