Any ideas guys?

Hey, Im looking at getting a digital camera for a trip this summer and Im trying to decide what I want. I currently own a JVC GC-QX3HD that is pretty nice to use but is really big and not exactly travel friendly. Im thinking of giving it to my girlfriend and getting something newer and smaller. I'm looking for good cameras that will go for 350 or less Canadian. I've looked at the kodak c340 and c360 but am not thrilled by the fact that it will only do jpeg. My current one will do TIFF files and I was hoping to find one that would do that as well.

I would really suggest the Canon S2 IS just because it has IS built in(say good bye to a huge percent of your blurry shots). But that might be out of your price range. I would also recommend the Panasonic DMC-FX8 or FX9 or look at the Panasonic DMC-LZ2. All those should be in your price range and have Image Stablity built in....

Cool, thats a good start. I'll look into them. I take it Image stability is a good feature? I dont think my current one has that as about 1/3 of my shots are blurry.

Hmm the G2 is a little steep but I like the look of the A610 if that is a reasonable one. Any opinions on it?
