This is a long shot, but, I just got the XBOX One. it's plugged into the same monitor my PC uses, which has two HDMI ports.

For my PC, I have the Logitech G930 headset which I love. I would like to somehow use this same headset for my Xbox One, if not in all capacity, at least some.

First, I think I'd have to plug my XBOX One into my PC, via HDMI, thus, I would need to add a device which accepts HDMI input. I was wondering if there is such a device that converts HDMI Input to USB 2.0/3.0. If so, I think I would be able to at least hear my game sounds through my G930s, but I might be at a loss in terms of using the speaker on it, as you have to actually plug a headset into the controller for that specific functionality.

I don't think I can plug my G930s directly into the USB port of my XBOX One, there is no driver support, yet, although this would be nice.

Does such a device exist? Would this even work (again, with the earphones only and not the mic)?

Idk of any way to input the xbox to the PC really, there are hdmi to usb adapters but afaik they are all output. there are capture cards availble that use HDMi but idk if that would work and would be expensive.
Have you tried to plug the headset into the Xbox yet? it may still deliver the sound even though proper drivers arent availble yet. also you might be able to convert your usb signal to traditional audio to use the headphone jack on you monitor (if it has one) using something like this

The only thing that comes to mind one of the blackmagic intensity devices.
zero idea if they'll give you a display window as they're mostly intended for video capture.

I think your best bet is to get an external HDMI switch with two inputs (XBOne and PC) and the output to your monitor. And, depending on the capabilities of your monitor, you may need something more to split out the video and the audio from the HDMI input, so you can route the sound to your speaker or PC line input.

I wouldn't recommend going down this path. Assuming that you use their Media Express application and you get the finicky settings right between the XBOne and the Intensity card, I still think you'll end up getting a slight delay in the video signal getting to the monitor slightly ahead of hearing the sound. That alone could be enough to throw off a gaming session.
