Any good LAN speed testing software?

I just did some wiring and I wanna test the speed to see if it's working right. Are there any free programs to test LAN speed?
 
there are two programs that run well for me in testing bandwidth between two host.

NetCPS (http://www.netchain.com/netcps/)
bricks (google for it)

Netcps is nice, because it generates all the data in memory. So the figures you get here will be a bit higher that real world performance.
 
I ran netcps and got about 10-11 mbs and got 93.5mbs with iperf.
