Any good intel Xeon Waterblocks?

Swiftech 6002 has a xeon mounting plate, theres a xeon Danger Den TDX and the Whitewater is universal as well. Theres plenty of choices now, we're pasted the age of a socket A model, s478 model, s754 model, etc. (although the 6002 uses seperate mounting plates, but those are $3 each so who cares?).

Oh allright. I just checked a few stores. Theres more then I thought. I thought xeon was like a super specialized CPU where finding parts for it would take days, but I was wrong!

You might be confusing Xeon's and Itainiums. I can understand trouble with Itainiums, but Xeon's are pretty commonplace.

i would say that this guy is just plain confused, having seen and responded to some of his posts.

water cooling a xeon, thinking of somehow rigging up some kind of cooling solution with an office watercooler, getting a xp 2500 mobile that he is "obviously" planning on overclocking with blah ram and lackluster motherboard, asking about how well the jet7 heatsink cools for that same XP 2500.................

either this guy owns a whole lot of computers and has a whole lot of projects on the go, or he is just posting questions about random ideas and is quite confused about what it is he is going to do at the end of the day.

Or maybe I am just curious about some stuff? Maybe I just like to know random stuff? Maybe I might need this information in the future? Maybe I do have alot of computers? Just because someone asks questions, doesn't mean he's confused.

you're quite correct. asking questions doesn't mean that you are confused.

asking many questions, about many projects, most of which are highly improbable means that you might be confused.

you have not left a good impression with some of my IRL friends who hang out in different areas of these forums than i, BTW.

i'm not saying that you should stop posting or anything, just that you might want to think about things a bit before you DO post. maybe do some research of your own as well.

i mean, it's not like a quick trip to the website of a retailer near you, such as www.bigfootcomputers.com would have answered your question about waterblock availability for intel xeon, right?

I know there ARE xeon waterblocks, I was asking about what some people prefered/

Just look for general review of the 6002, TDX, & Whitewater, and make your desicion from there. In general, the Whitewater is the best performing, and the 6002 is the least expensive.

1,700 posts in 9 weeks? You gotta be kidding me  I'm at less than 900 posts and I joined in November 2003. I consider myself somewhat prolific at times, but jeez 1,700 posts!!!! That's about 1 post per hour per day. You been smoking speed? ;)

I think he's also been smoking speed as that might account for the reported confusion

Confused or not the rest of us would like to know that people are asking questions for something that they are doing. If your boning up for some game show, then please spread the BS around on some other forums.
