So I just got a mobile P4 1.6 CPU that I'm pairing with an Asus P4XP-X (845 chipset) motherboard. As expected, it defualts to 12x multiplier, so 133MHz FSB= ~1600MHz. So far that's pretty stable, but I haven't played with the system enough to see how high it will go.
It seems like the PCI bus is locked, so ~166FSB shouldn't be an issue for this mobo. I was just wondering if anyone has any experience with these CPUs and how high you've been able to OC them.
