Any experience/advice on USB docking solutions?

Here's what I've got:

Asus UX31
24" Ultrasharp Dell Display
USB keyboard, wireless mouse, etc

What I want to do is add another external monitor (another 24" US) to expand my workspace and cut down on the amount of plugging and plugging I'm doing.

The UX31 comes with zero docking ports/options as far as I can tell, so some kind of USB solutions looks to be the only answer. Have you guys used USB docking solutions before? Done multi-monitor setups with them? Any product recommendations?
 
Also looking for one myself. Really interested in knowing the performance on a 1920x1080 monitor.

USB is CPU dependent so i would also like to know the CPU overhead if anyone has these things.
