I did a search on the forums already, and found some useful information regarding AntiVirus software. Some people even mentioned the question I had, which is.
Would one use Symantec Endpoint Protection over Avast given the option (no Windows 7), or would Avast still be a better option (mainly system resource hogging, Symantec in Vista seemed to take a while to load up).
In the threads I read it was not ever a debate between just these two specific AV software, and so the answers were far spread out.
