antivirus other then mcaffe or Norton?

this is sorta security... i guess

i used to use norton + internet security
buts its just too damned militant over my internet connection

ive had on several occasions the net just stop working for no apparent reason
and upton removing norton it works again. im sick of norton its gone

i recently tried mcaffe and its just too flaky
it refuses to auto update
and it regularly just does stupid things

it also just let me know that its apparently not installed right and that i should reinstall

toast!

what other antivirus programs are out there other then norton and mcaffe

there is that free one from M$ but call me crazy i dont trust it.

suggestions?

I use symantec AV, I don't touch their internet stuff. Corporate version works flawlessly. Auto updates, remote installs..very much goodness.

Been using it for 2 years and no problems.
