Antivirus keeps flagging files

My antivirus (Norton) flagged some HelpWire files as suspicious. Has anyone else run into this? I downloaded it from the official website, so I’m not sure if it’s a false positive or something to actually worry about.
Any thoughts would be helpful!

You don’t. Get rid of Norton. Norton was was slowing my work laptop to a crawl. It was such a boost in performance when my company moved away from Norton. All we run is windows security now.

I think it’s a false positive. I’ve had this happen a few times with other apps, and I’ve read about similar cases on Reddit. Now I just stick to the built-in Windows defender, and it hasn’t happened since.

You might be right! I’ve noticed my computer runs slow with Norton too!
 
it might just be a smart filter of some sort. edge will flag stuff that isnt downloaded a lot too. and i agree, turf norton, its been shit for decades.
