Antivirus Comparison

I have been looking for a comparison of commercial and free antivirus products that not only covers how well they catch viruses but what impact they have on performance especially while playing online. Is there one out already or would Kyle and the gang be interested in doing one. I see too many infections at LAN parties because everyone is disabling everything to get the best performance.

Now see, I can understand your search for better performance.
But in that process to turn off your Antivirus program is kinda insane!

The only place I know that compares Anti-virus programs are :

Virus Bulletin : Independent Anti-virus and Anti-spam Advice

But they compare on the succes rate of the programs(how well they catch virus).
Not performance!

I use NOD32 and have yet to see any improvement in speed from disableing it(because I don't disable it EVER!).

I have not been one to disable my antivirus but I would like to find one that would impact my performance the least and be able to sugest it to others.

Has anyone done one on game frame rates or is anyone interested in doing one I can do the free ones but I am unable to afford the pay ones.
