Anti-Virus/Ad-ware

I am looking for a good antivirus program...Free would be nice. I'm sick of paying for norton.

Also wondering what Spy/Ad ware programs everyone is using.

I have Ad-Aware. But i feel like it doesn't get everything.

Avast or AVG is either one better?

AVG is more well known then other options. My schools gives out symantec for free so I don't have any experience with avg. Sorry if I came off sounds like a schmuch.

hey no problems, i should have checked the sticky first, The title didn't look right at first.

I get lazy at night.


lot of good stuff in that thread though. I should check out the software section more often.
