MrGuvernment said:their is no "VS" X-connect = crap
Antec - tried / tested and true - but look into other ones like Fortron and other even better companies

dcnv said:Hi! i am quite a newb to the forum and I have a question to ask
if an Antec TruePower 2.0 550W better than the new X-connect X-finity?
Thank alot
jonnyGURU said:If either model you're looking at is one of the newer ones with the FlexForce cables, then it beats the Antec because they have more power on each 12V, greater combined 12V, better efficiency, quieter fan (kind of goes hand and hand w/ the efficiency), longer warranty (3 years out of box, lifetime w/ registration) and costs less than the Antec. That and the FlexForce cables make the insides of your PC look really slick. ;-) (ahem.. if you're into that kind of thing.)
Standpoint said:why do you think x connect is so crappy? I know everyone around here disses them, though my guess is mostly due to bandwagon effect. I have an X-connect(not the new model) and it runs flawlessly. Its specs show 32A on the +12, not bad IMO.

It depends on whether I wanted to get there fast (Ferrari) or be 100% sure that I'd get there (Corolla).Skin said:Its not thinking, its knowing. Would you choose a Corolla over a Ferrari?
