I bought an Antec True 550W P.S. and have just one question. On the outside of the P.S. (where the exhaust fan is) The is a rubber plug covering a 4 prong connector (looks like a female version of a MOLEX connector) What the hell is this for?
 
Its an external power conector. Its for powering external devices.
 
Mostly it's for case modders who like to have external power for fans, LCDs, etc. I wouldn't suggest running internal drives outside of your case or anything.
