Ok I have this power supply from an older computer build to use in the current system in my sig. I'm definitely going to be upgrading my 8800gts to a gtx, and maybe later on in the year I'll upgrade my e6600 to a q6600. Question is will my truepower be able to power those upgrades along with the other things in my computer? This one unlike the newer trio only has two 12v rails with 19amps on each. Any advisements to get a newer psu that pushes 600+ watts?

I had 2 of those die powering a /much/ less demanding system:

A64 3500+ single core
1GB DDR400 (2x512)
Sapphire Radeon X800XT 256MB
Creative X-Fi XtremeMusic
2x DVDRWs
2x HDDs
Antec Sonata case

Got the Truepower 550 because the 380watt Truepower that came with the case was causing stability issues.

First died after about a year and a half, RMA'd it, second died after another 2 years. I gave up and built the machine in my sig. 65-75F room, not 24/7 operation by any stretch of the imagination.

They're the main reason I would never buy another Antec PSU.

Well mine is in my current system and it hasn't given me any trouble but...I guess it's possible

What's the combined amperage on those two 12 volt rails?

edit: Nevermind... Found it, that those two rails are apparently capable of puttin gout 36 amps combined.

BFG recommens that you have at least a combined 32 amps on that 12 volt rail. Thus, it should work.
