I just order the Truepower 430 to power the X2 system in the sig with slight OCing. The 2 Baracudas are included with all the shipped components. Is is enough? Or should I get the 480?

Should run it fine. I use the same power supply in my workstation with a XP 3200+, 1 GB, 9800 Pro, 3x 7200 RPM drives and 3 optical drives, and it's nowhere near stressed.

The 480 would not be a bad idea for future use though.

I ordered the 480 just in case. Can never have to much protection for an extra 17 bucks. :)

TruePower 480 or TruePower II 480?

The true power is 20 pin, the true power II is 24 pin. My guess that your system will run with a 20 but would be better served with a 24 pin PSU. The 480 is very good.

I know the Neo 480 does because I have one.

Do the truepowers have 24-pin ATX connectors? If not, don't get one
