i recently bought said psu and was curious to find that it has 2 pci-e connectors and is not rated for sli.just wondering if it has enough juice to run a sli system for future referance.

my current sys includes:
A8N sli prem
165 opteron
seagate 250 hhd
xfx 6800gt
1g of kingston 4000 ram
water cooling setup with 12v pump
 
au contrair, its the amps that matter and as long as you have the plugs (molex or pcie what ever your cards require) it should power it. And by the way could you post a link to the video card youre considering, xfx makes like 3 6800gt models. Only curious because a lot of xfx's have molex's on the back but maybe the sli models are required to have pcie plugs. Just tellin ya for the total use of what its meant for. Like i said it should power it fine.
 
Actually, nVidia's minimum recommendation for SLI is 34A combined on the +12V rail(s).

The TPII-480 is rated for 33A combined on its +12V rails - which might just cut it for SLI'ed graphics cards that are a step below the top of the line.
