Alrighty then...

So this is the specifications I'll have when it's said and done with:

Asus A8N SLI Premium
A64 3200+ Venice @ stock speeds.
OCZ EL Platinum Series - 2-3-2-5 @ 1T Command
1x36 GB Raptor
1 x XFX 7800GTX (450/1250) (for now, i'll buy another one later)
SB Audigy 2 Value (same card i've had for like, 4 years or something, works great)

And then this power supply:

Now, I've read the various threads and done a moderate amount of research...and I'm looking for input from people who own/have owned/ or know a lot about this power supply. I have learned that newegg reviews a f'n worthless since all those idiots have is money and no brain. The slightest F up and the whole damn brand flies out the window with them. So if anybody who knows a lot about this PSU (i found it on slizone.com) and has any input, please...input :D

i have two of these and i'm getting a third after much deliberation between it and a seasonic. in the end i just can't justify the extra $$ for the seasonic.

the two units i have are unbelievably solid on the rails. i've posted this before but heres a shot of the 12v under what i'd consider a decent load- rthdribl and prime large while i rip a dvd. best i could think of anyway.

this is when i had a 3200 winny @ 23xx, a 6800gt, 2 hdd, 2 opticals, 6 fans and a gig o ram on a sli-dr. sorry for the glare but the dmm is shown at the bottom-

thats the 12v2, idle is 11.99/12. the fan rpm is represented by the pwmic in smartguardian. the 12v1 for the cpu is the same. currently my rig in sig reads the same (i'll update that pic someday)

i fold 24/7 on my rigs when not gaming/tweaking and the fan never spins up above 1100rpm and that was in the dog hot days before i brought my ac units down from the attic.

i think these are one of the best psu/$$ and the $20 rebate just makes it sweeter.

the only thing diffenet on yours is the dual 80mm fans as opposed to the 120mm fan i have and linked.

Sweet...so i'm good to go with this PSU then.
