Antec TruePower 2.0

The TP-550EPS12v has 2 80mm fans the TP-550 and 1 120 fan... thats the only differents spec wise it's the same...

Comparing the two on the Antec site, I also noticed that the EPS12V has this feature:

"8-pin +12V connector with detachable 4-pin section for universal motherboard compatibility" whereas the other did not.

Is it just a slight error, or does the non-EPS12V not have this feature?
I have an Intel 875P, just wondering if it would be compatible.

The +12V connector which comes with the non-EPS12V version has only 4 pins.

And yes, you can use the EPS12V version with your system - provided that you detach half of its 8-pin +12V connector.
