What are the differences, which is better/quieter? I'm thinking of putting one of these in the new lian-li 1200 case... does anyone foresee any potential complications?

thanks for any responses...

I doubt that either one of those PSU's will be noticeably louder than the other. My experience with Antec PSU's has been that they are all comfortably quiet.

As for which one is better; the Neopower is much better. It has dual 12V rails, which is critical for any new cutting-edge systems. It has support for PCI-E graphics(six pin power connector), and it also uses the new 24-pin interfaces with the motherboard (which, again, is very important if you want a PSU that will be somewhat "futureproof").

I would definitely go with the Neopower.

Have you seen the new TruePower 480 II? Full ATX12V v2.0 compliance, just without the modular cabling and gunmetal finish.

Teh TruePower 480 will have a different finish, different fan design, and it has a single 12v rail as opposed to a split rail. Also the TP480 is an ATX 20 pin PSU and the NeoPower is a 24pin PSU compatible with newer PCI-Express power designs and has the PCI-E video card plug.

Also it's modular.

I just picked up a trueblue 480 II (120mm fan, 2x pciE connectors,24pin thats 20 pin downward compatable!)

Through extreme testing on both the neo power and the true blue 2 i've seen no difference between the two, besides the finish and modular wiring. IMHO the trueblue 2 is the same board design( have had both apart). Save yourself the money and go with the trueblue, performs AWESOME.

IMHO
